EMD Indonesia – The Voice of Exploration

Founded in 2010, the Explorers and Mine Developers Association Indonesia (EMD) has been dedicated to enhancing the exploration and mining sector within the country. Recognized as “the voice of exploration” in Indonesia, EMD has spent over 15 years advocating for improved conditions for investors in mining and exploration. One of its notable achievements is successfully lobbying the government to acknowledge the distinct differences between exploration and exploitation, a distinction previously blurred due to language nuances in Indonesian where “eksplorasi” and “eksploitasi” were often treated as synonymous.
