The Indonesian Exploration and Mining Development Association ( EMD ) is the primary organization for the exploration and mining industry in Indonesia that contributes to the issues of the exploration industry by holding discussions and seminars with expert and leading speakers in the exploration and mining industry attended by decision makers seniors in the exploration, mining, environmental, embassy representatives, law firms and government officials. EMD also participates in policy-making discussions with government and other professional organizations.

Membership of the Association is open to all companies and individuals who are actively involved in the Indonesian search, exploration and mining industry as explorers, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment or services.
Founded in 2010, we have been at the forefront of advancing the exploration and mining sector in Indonesia. As “the voice of exploration,” we have spent 15 years advocating for improved conditions in mining exploration, engaging with policymakers, and promoting sustainable practices.
